Yogajyoti, part of the Light of the Self Foundation, is a non-commercial volunteer organization. We are guided by the Vedic principle, "Atmano Mokshartham Jagat Hitaya Cha," which inspires us to dedicate our lives to both personal and collective spiritual upliftment. We want Yoga, Meditation, Spirituality to reach every Home and every Individual.
To empower individuals to recognize their inherent divine nature and express it in their daily lives.
We propagate Sanatana Dharma through Yoga, Dhyana, and Vedanta to help individuals actualize their divine potential, thereby fostering world peace and harmony.
Yogajyoti is a sangha — a fellowship of seekers committed to the path of Liberation (Mukti). Rooted in the ancient wisdom of the rishis, we walk the way of spirituality through the learning, practice, and sharing of yoga, meditation, and Vedanta. Our journey is one of inner transformation — to become peaceful, loving, wise, and compassionate beings. As each of us becomes a jyothi (lamp), we strive to spread that light to others, illuminating the world with truth and harmony.
Atmajyothi Prasad, founder of Yogajyoti, is a dedicated disciple of Sadguru Prabhu ji from the Light of the Self Foundation. Inspired by Prabhu ji's teaching—"Your home is your ashram, holy place, temple. While being a house-holder, grihastha-ashrami, learn, study, practice, understand, and teach spirituality and bring peace, love, wisdom into the life of yourself and into the lives of people"—Prasad began teaching as part of Yogajyoti in 2011 with his guru's blessings.
Yogajyoti concentrates on three primary areas:
Scriptural Studies: Delving into texts such as the Bhagavad Gita, Patanjali Yoga Sutras, and Upanishads.
Asana & Dhyana: Learning, practicing, and teaching yoga asana and dhyana (meditation).
Teacher Training: Preparing and certifying Yogajyoti teachers in yoga, dhyana, and jnana (knowledge).
