Yogajyoti offers the Yogajyoti Practitioner Program (YPP) for householders (Grihasthas) who aspire to bring spirituality and divinity into their everyday lives.
YPP is for those who wish to live a life of purpose, discipline, inner growth and selfless service, while continuing to fulfil their responsibilities towards their family and profession.
The ideal practitioner is financially independent, responsible towards their family, and sincerely committed to integrating Yoga, Dhyana, Bhagavad Gita and Vedanta into their daily life.
YPP is inspired by the Vedic principle:
For one's own spiritual upliftment and for the welfare and upliftment of others.
The journey is therefore not only about personal transformation. As we grow, we also take responsibility for helping others grow.
YPP is intended for serious spiritual seekers who:
Wish to learn and practise the wisdom of the Indian spiritual tradition
Want to integrate Yoga, Dhyana, Bhagavad Gita and Vedanta into their lifestyle
Are willing to cultivate discipline and self-awareness
Wish to transform themselves rather than merely acquire knowledge
Are committed to sharing what they learn with others
Are willing to dedicate a part of their time to selfless service
Continue to fulfil their responsibilities towards their family and profession
This is not a short-term course or a certification pursued for employment.
It is a lifelong commitment to learning, practice, transformation and service.
There is no monetary fee.
The commitment expected from a YPP practitioner is:
Start: Any day you are ready to begin.
End: Never.
YPP is not designed around a fixed course duration. It is a continuing journey of practice, learning, reflection and service.
A YPP practitioner maintains a disciplined daily rhythm alongside their regular professional and family responsibilities.
6:30 – 7:30 AM IST
Yoga & Pranayama
Physical practice, breath awareness and preparation of the body and mind for the day.
7:30 – 8:00 AM IST
Kriya Yoga
A dedicated period for inner practice and spiritual discipline.
8:00 – 9:00 PM IST
Scriptural Study
Study and reflection on the Bhagavad Gita, Vedanta and other sources of ancient wisdom.
9:00 – 9:30 PM IST
Dhyana (Meditation)
A period of quiet contemplation, meditation and inner reflection.
Live your ordinary life consciously.
Go to work. Take care of your family. Fulfil your responsibilities. Interact with people.
The practice is not separate from life.
Life itself becomes the field of practice.
Spiritual growth is not complete with personal practice alone.
Every YPP practitioner commits a fixed number of hours each week to selfless service, according to their circumstances and capacity.
This may include sharing and teaching:
Yoga
Dhyana
Bhagavad Gita
Vedanta
Values and spiritual wisdom
The intention is simple:
What we receive through our own learning becomes an opportunity to contribute to the lives of others.
YPP does not promise quick transformation.
It is an invitation to gradually cultivate:
Discipline → Awareness → Understanding → Transformation → Service
You continue your profession.
You fulfil your family responsibilities.
You practise Yoga and Dhyana.
You study the scriptures.
You work on yourself.
And, as you grow, you help others grow.
A life dedicated to one's own spiritual upliftment and the welfare of others.
